• M6 vs. M7 Difference: The M6 and M7 headshell bodies share the same physical shape, mounting dimensions, and 4-pin contact layout. The primary difference is the internal cartridge mounting clip/plate arrangement (with the M7 featuring a metal mounting plate insert secured by a top screw to simplify standard 1/2-inch cartridge installation).

• Incompatible Models: These will not fit older 3-pin Garrard arms (such as the RC88, RC98, or RC121) or later sled-style Garrard tonearms (such as the Zero 100, Type A70, or C2/C3 sled models).
